For most of our cruises I have organised a get together of forum users. I have a f/b group on the go and I think there are about 10 to 15 with the two groups together. If you would like I can get it sorted for the first sea day on our cruise, the 20th September.

Three month today and we will be away.

Have we noticed that the Boat Show will be on in Southampton when we depart. Just checking hotels and the Premier Inn WQ is now at £139 per room per night. Could say it was steep.

That's useful information for fellow travellers, I will be coming down that mornin using a door to door service from my home in South Wales to Southampton. Balance paid and have booked 2 shore excursions.

Hi All

I see that our ports of call have been changed around. You can see from the info about the on your cruise personaliser. The 2 excursions that I have booked have been carried across to the new dates. Corsica, Livorno and Monte Carlo have remained unchanged.

Only 8 weeks to go now.

Hi all

E tickets issued this morning ready for printing off. Still waiting for the excursion brochure with the luggage labels. Rang through this morning and was told slight delay due to the change of ports of call.

Not long now.

Printed my e-ticket and luggage labels today and I am happy I got a free cabin upgrade.

actually the original cabin was nearer the amenities but the new one is high forward which is OK as it is as far from the engines as you can get.

Also applied for my shareholder credit today.

Getting to southampton on the day is going to be interesting with the boat show etc etc

Got my excursion book - with luggage labels for the original cabin!!

a lot of 'new' excursions which are just the old ones with less generous food breaks etc etc.

the pub crawl in Gib might be interesting!.

got an email as well. We will be tendering in Monte Carlo.

They would not have time to reprint the booklets with the correct cabin number if the change came late Dave. Our upgrade came 5 days before we left last June so we had to use the ones on line which were changed very quickly.

I did not think a pub crawl would be your thing at all. 8-)

OK I have contacted the ship and when I get an answer I will post on here the details of our meet.

It will go under the title P&O Internet Cruise Community. As it covers a number of forums. I have asked for it to go in Horizons on the day of the meet.

So watch this space.
