Hope this may be of some use. The P&O x308 cruise has been reduced they are offering an inside on get away price at £449 for 7 nights on the oriana leaving May 3rd for the fjords. Im guessing this means quite a few rooms free so actually maybe ignore this post and don't book, so more cocktails of the day for me....well ive got to do my bit to increase revenue if there are empty rooms.

Adonia's D304 ... 12 nights to the North Cape for a partly ( hardly ) obstructed HC Balcony grade cabin for £859 ( P&O online ) sounds like a decent enough deal to me, it could go lower however ... but one we will miss out on unfortunately.
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

Thanks QB, that's a great link.

If we weren't booked elsewhere in June we could have spent most of May on Adonia for peanuts ... ish

Have just booked R306 on Aurora to the Baltic - paid £799 for an outside JD cabin for 14 nights. Inside was £699. Price has been dropping steadily over the last week. May go lower but wanted to ensure that we could get on because my sister and her husband are already booked on there. Just hope the weather isn't too bad late May/early June.

Hi Wina - yes, I did tell my sister last night. I don't think we would get away with the surprise a second time. Have been reading Romig's info on the Baltic. It is nice to have something to look forward to. Not long now till your trip. Maureen x

Hi Maureen
From your reply you obviously surprised your sister on a previous cruise and it made me think about something which happened a few years ago.

We met a lovely couple at the Hilton the night before a cruise, both were in their 70's, they had met on their last cruise and continued seeing each other and in their words were sneaking off for a "dirty weekend" ( hmmm 3 week cruise  ) well to cut a very long story short they had just finished unpacking and there was a knock on the cabin door and when they opened it his brother and his wife were stood there they had decided to surprise him so he wouldn't be on his own, he was quite embarrassed initially as he hadn't told anyone he had a "lady friend" they all got on famously though after the initial surprise :D

Booked it online with Princess direct but we had an e-mail with special code so dont know if its open to everybody might be worth trying online or phone them. There were cabins available from £499 but we paid a little bit extra for midships.

Had some good ones in email this morning from Liverpol CC, eg Aurora 28 April Eastern Med 17 nights.
(Looks more like Central Med to me though). Wish I could go but have other arrangements.

Have you cruised with Princess before to get into Elite, or did they just do it because you are a P&O regular?

I have cruised before with Princess but after my first cruise I was automatically placed in Elite due to my P&O cruising record but dont know if this is the same now.
