Ranthambore - Day 1
Ranthambore is one of the game reserves of India which at one time was the hunting grounds for the Maharajahs. The main reason why people come here is in the expectation of seeing tigers in the wild – time will tell as we have three safaris over the next two days.
The journey from the station to our accommodation too about 30 minutes along some very uneven roads. Because of the delay with the train our luggage was only a couple of hours behind us.
Just had a walk around the grounds and am now sitting in a rocking chair on the verandah typing this.

Re: Ranthambore - Day 1
We were very lucky and saw two tigers on our second trip in the afternoon, they are a fantastic sight in the wild, we were very fortunate on our afternoon trip as we saw none in the morning. Hope you get to experience them as well.
