Thank you.
Unfortunately the pure black one, Freddie, is no longer with us. He had a altication with a vehicle several years ago and the vehicle won. We are left with Monty now our nine year old black and white who treats the house like a hotel and us as his staff. Wouldn't be without him though.

Our black cat found us! Tried to find out who she belonged to but had no takers. About a year later found out it was the next door neighbour but they had changed their minds about having a cat and seen we were a soft touch didn't claim her 😕 never felt the same about them after that, they could have told us we would still given her a home.

Our choice though is a cocker spaniel 😁 who has us completely under her paw, wouldn't have it any other way😂😂

I can never understands peoples mentality of abandoning animals. There really is no need for it. Like you I would blank them.

Did they actually abandoned it, they knew where it was and were happy to see it going willingly to a new home.

It could be that the cat ripped the back of their sofa to shreads, pee-ed and poo-ed in the kitchen, bought fleas into the bed, coughed up worms etc etc and they just hadn't realised that animals can do those things instead of politely sitting in it's chair watching TV like wot they did do.

Maybe ?

Still no excuse to not let the neubour (Happydays) know that it was/had been there's and that they were happy for her to keep it if she so wished.

You're lucky we have had our heating on morning and evening since Tuesday, and yesterday it was on all day!!

Well we can't spend our money on cruises at present, so we might as well be warm and comfortable at home.

The weather could be better here, but it's just nice to get away and have a change of scenery.

Off to Lyme Regis in a while. Will definately be visiting the National Trust shop and purchasing a couple of jars of their wonderful stem ginger preserve

It's been there the last couple of years of visiting. It's situated about halfway along the sea front. Sidmouth also has a shop in the town.

Required goods purchased, now back at base. Would have stayed longer but the weather changed and it was getting uncomfortably busy.
