Very true but a sense of humour and the ability to not get too offended by some comments is essential in my opinion to survive - I'm struggling tbh with the situation at the moment with extra lockdown measures in my county borough - may be it is a nightmare and I'll wake up

All things considered, doing well thank you. Went out for a drive this afternoon, and had to put petrol in the car, now that I'm using it again. That's the 3rd time since last December -or possibly even November!

What speeds are you achieving Stephen, and if you have an ethernet connection to a pc or laptop, compare that with the same test on your mobile phone.

I just posted on LOTPW about this John. But here are before and after upgrade speeds. Yes I have a Ethernet connection to my Desktop PC. I upgraded from bog standard Sky unlimited broadband to their Superfast with Boost package. My mobile phone, which is only a couple of months old is achieving practically the same speed as my PC.

You log burners do realise that although log burning is sustainable, in that legal suppliers are replanting trees as fast as they fell them, it does little to benefit climate change, since a mature tree absorbs hundreds of times more CO2 than teeny weeny little ones, and it takes decades for a tree to reach full maturity.......just saying.

Possibly so but my logs come from Europe so I don't care

Kiln Dried logs contain less than 20% water so will burn very cleanly but those who burm unseasoned / wet wood are causing their fire to burn inefficiently which in turn results in a lorra polution going into the atmosphere .... just saying

If you brought the large crate equivalent to four builders bags then you've got a bargain Moby. A builders bag round here will cost you £85 upwards, delivered either loose or in a bag.

Never mind.

I've got at least the next three years supply from a natural source. A fallen large copper beach tree in my mother in-laws garden. Had the man in last Friday to cut up the main trunk for me.
