Looks like if you stay in bed (Mrs S will bring you a cuppa) until about 11 you can avoid it.

I think the last time I was in bed at 11 o'clock in the morning was when I was in hospital with Sepsis back in 2022.

Next time I fancy a free stay in a hotel I'll try that too. Might not be in Maldon though. Any offers in the Caribbean?

What's happened to Moby. Haven't seen him on the board for ages.

Do you think he's trying to avoid paying back that tenner he owes me .

I reckon that all social media sites should be responsible for ensuring all their members are alive and well, and publishing obituaries for those that have passed.
Only joking David, or am I? :o  :?

Good plan. They should pass a law.

Seriously though we never know do we? I post on here but when I turn up my toes the last thing my survivors will be thinking of is letting you lot know.

I do know Cubie lives on as he posts on Twitter on horticultural matters.

I would want to know Merv so I can raise a toast to you.........via your drinks cabinet of course, once I've worked out the combination lock. PLus, a spare car battery always comes in handy :D

I never was able to find out. I exchanged a couple of messages with him. I think he said something like change of circumstances.

I wonder if he has any logs left. I’m down that way next month.
