Croatia
Hi
I am doing a cruise later in the year on Aurora which calls in at Zadar.
Has any one been to Zadar or Sibenik and if so can you give any helpful tips.
Shore excursions are already available for this cruise in October so am doing a little research.
Many thanks
Lindsey

Re: Croatia
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit(s) to both of them, albeit as part of a coaching tour rather than a cruise.
They are lovely destinations, read the following link to see which one is right for you.
Decisions, decisions !!
ps .... do a search for Sibenik within the above link for info.

OH and I are on that cruise too. Messina, Sibenik and Cagliari are places we haven't visited before. Sibenik is a tender to shore so we'll probably just wander aimlessly around the town.Jan Rosser wrote: ↑13 Apr 2017, 17:02I'm going to Sibenik in July/August on Aurora so will have a look at the link too.

Sibenik is the only one I haven't been to but the majority of ports are new to my son and family - they are really looking to Venice and Dubrovnik.Keechy wrote: ↑14 Apr 2017, 13:38OH and I are on that cruise too. Re: Croatia
There are some lovely ports along this stretch of coastline. It seems a pity P&O don't link some of them together to form a new itinerary instead of the usual Corfu, Dubrovnik and Venice. Much as I like them it would be nice to have something very different.
