Our second cruise to the Western Med so excited - promise to look after the Azura for you Romig and Wina and don't forget to wave as we get off and you get on - it really shouldn't be to much of a problem for me to duck under the railing and sneak into your cases - you don't mind do you?

Anybody else on this one?

You'll have a job doing that Invigi as there are 4 short cruises between yours & ours, P&O cancelled the 11 night cruise & replaced it with 2,4,3 & 2 night cruises ;)

Hi ya Towny - how are you?

Excited - cases out of loft :D :D

Have your excursions come up now - I did reply to the last message you left on the P&O forum did you read it before the site went down?

Yes I read that, and no the accessible excursions brochure has not arrived yet, from memory I think it is about 50 or 60 days prior to sailing.
Our cases are in the top of the wardrobe so no need to go up in the loft for them, but we (I) normally prepare for packing only during the week before a cruise.
By the way you should recognise us on the ship, my wife's wheelchair is the Ferrari red one, so make sure to introduce yourselves to us.

Not to long to wait now, only 8 weeks 3 days to go EXCITING :D :D

So Lynden and Melsea have you booked any excursions yet? There seems to be a lot on offer. Suitcases are out the loft, dresses - which still don't do up are hanging on the wardrobe door in the hope that the diet works in time. Can't wait really looking forward to it. :D :D

The on-line accessible brochure was e-mailed to us today, unforunately there are no accessible tours in Cadiz so we probably won't be going to Seville, and nothing worth the cost at any of the other ports. So looks like we will be doing our own thing.
Such a shame that P&O's access tours are so inferior to Celebrity, both in quality and cost.

From the accessible shore excursion & port info booklet it appears there will be port shuttles available as follows:-
Lisbon - Yes if we are berthed at the downriver pier 5km from town, otherwise its only 800m to the town centre.
Gibralter - No shuttle, town centre 1.6km.
Barcelona - Yes town centre 2.4km
Valencia - Yes town centre 3km
Malaga - probably no shuttle, brochure advises public buses available at 4 euro return, town centre 1.8km
Cadiz - No shuttle, town centre 200m.
For town centre I would assume that will be the shuttle drop off point.

Just looked on the CP and there are tours for all places we go to. Malaga is a lovely place and I motive it goes to a place sallied Mijas, this is a beautiful hill side 'village'. We spent 6 weeks in this part of Spain and it was truly a beautiful part of Spain. Can't wait.. :D

Hi Melsea, we are so so so excited, have never been to Spain or come to that any of the countries on our cruise before so really looking forward to it. Have you booked any trips yet? The only one we have booked so far is in Gibraltar. We are DIYing most of the others but still trying to decide between one in Valencia or one in Malaga.

Have just had a look in the P&O help pages under dress code and it now shows how long we have in each port and also what nights we have the black and white night, tropical night and the 60s night.

The countdown is well and truly running now :D :D

Just booked this cruise - travelling on my own this time so hope to meet some of you on board. I'm wait listed for Freedom dining so will have to wait and see what happens. Lucky to get an obstructed view cabin for less than a single outside cabin - doesn't make sense to me but apparently singles can't participate in Getaway deals they are restricted to two sharing a cabin. Still not really bothered - just bought two new dresses which need shortening - I'm now on official countdown yippee !!
