Well the day has arrived when we set off on the looooooooooooong journey to New Zealand.

The cases are all packed with everything except the kitchen sink! Everything else that we can think of is done and all we have to do now is wait to be picked up at 17:15.

Intrigued as to how you are getting there? Plane or ship? Once met an elderly couple on a cruise who wouldn't fly so travelled to New Zealand by ship (a world cruise from Southampton). They disembarked in New Zealand and stayed until the following year and then travelled back to the UK by ship (a world cruise returning to UK). Thought it was a very good idea - gave them the opportunity to see family out there and avoid long flights.

Which ever way you travel - stay safe and have a fabulous time
