We sailed with Countess Mountbatten and Lady Pamela Hicks. They were charming. Took me ages to work out that I had seen them on documentaries on TV. they just looked familiar!

Murray Walker was on Arcadia a couple of years ago and Prunella Scales and Timothy West did the Aurora Christmas and New Year cruise three years ago. MW was absolutely charming but Mr West could be described as nothing but rude - and we didn't even try to talk to him as I agree that everyone has the right to privacy, whoever they may be

Once, on Arcadia, I met a 'famous tv personality'. He was quite charming and was more than content to greet me and shake hands - but it was an evening when I was 'busy having a good time', and being typically me (and honestly truthfully not knowing and therefore not recognizing this tv personality) I told him that I really didn't recognize him, and asked if he knew me!!!!!

On Island Princess doing a partial transit of the Panama Canal last November we had Christopher Biggins on board cruising with his partner Neil.

They were both charming and very approachable
