Lovely review for those of us who love Aurora but also handy for newbies wondering what the ship is like once onboard.

All I care about are the wooden lounger chairs on the promenade deck :(

Thanks for posting the video link but I can’t watch it until I get home.

We recently experienced the real thing so don't need to watch the video. Aurora was in the main OK and the MDR and Horizon buffet have much better layouts than Azura/Ventura but, certainly for wheelchair passengers, the size and layout of the public rooms could be much better. By the way QB the wooden steamer chairs on the prom deck no longer exist and, despite its size we were less than impressed with the prom deck, the sun never reaches the sitting area, so everyone has to move their chairs right up to rails to get the benefit of the sun, thus not very relaxing and no good for people watching which we enjoy on Azura/Ventura.

I'm sorry the wooden steamers have gone. The last time we were on Aurora there was still a few. I .can't say I find the new seats particularly comfortable for relaxing. Many people seem to move the chairs to the rails just so they can put their feet up.
As one who burns easily Aurora's wide promenade deck is the one area which provides plenty of shade for those who want to take in the sea air but don't want to get burnt.
