We're having a kip before dinner. Exhausting day.
Do.you want to buy a plastic model of the Parthenon? We seem to have bought three.

Thanks for the offer but I fear it may clash with our 3 AirFix models of the Acropolis

Re: Coronavirus Virtual Cruise
here's Samos - while you make your mind up.
It's only a short distance from Kusadasi - so we can go there next!
then either north and into the black sea o or south and do more Greece etc

Re: Coronavirus Virtual Cruise
Good morning everybody, this is the Deputy Capitano speaking ....
I will introduce you to our ship, ' Voyages of Discovery ', then we will commence our 23 day cruise.
The sailing from Istanbul, via the Bosphorus, to our first Port of call is long so a Sea Day for Merv may be appropriate.
Our itinerary ....
* Trabzon, Turkey
* Batumi, Georgia
* Sochi, Russia
* Yalta, on the Crimean Peninsula
* Sevastopol, Ukraine, a key Russian Port
* Odessa, Ukraine, is the Pearl of the Black Sea
* Constanza, Romania, is the pits
* Nesebar, Bulgaria
* Istanbul, Turkey ... where we will remain for several days before announcing the second leg of our itinerary.

I did a cruise on Aurora in September 2009 and we sailed from Istanbul through the Black Sea to Yalta and Odessa and definitely have photos but have no idea where they are

Re: Coronavirus Virtual Cruise
Cruising on ' V of D ' is was for those of us who enjoy small ships and a Port intensive itinerary .... drum roll ....

... and try to remember that size isn't everything
