Just wondering whether we can have a travel corridor from the lounge to the garden which avoids quarantine anywhere near the fridge?
Probably not due to the fact that the lounge, being indoors, will have a higher rate of infection than the garden which is outdoors.

My insurer, Free Spirit from P J Hayman have recently confirmed that we have Covid cover for medical treatment up to £10m, including all hospital costs and repatriation where necessary, and this seems to be becoming the industry norm.
Nationwide Bank on the other hand say the opposite ... presumably yours is a proper policy ?
As a Nationwide credit card user I am beginning to be a bit worried about them, there are lots of adverse comments on CC about their slow, almost snail like, action on S75 claims to try and shortcut the cruise refund policy of the cruise lines and other holiday firms. Other credit card providers seem to be taking about 1 week to get refunds, whereas Nationwide are taking several weeks.

I have just closed my Nationwide FlexPlus Account. When it first came out it was good value but over the years they have cut the interest rate, increased the monthly account charge and the insurance became expensive taking into account existing medical conditions. I found I could get travel insurance much cheaper elsewhere. Pity really because initially it was a good package but, like other packages such as Santander's 123 account once they start changing the rates you have to consider whether they are benefiting you or merely adding to the bank's coffers. Ultimately you find you may be paying in more than you are gaining in benefits.

Rumour has it that you’re an authority on horses’ arses…but the less said about that the better ;) :D

I know nothing about horses ar*es, unlike yourself who is more than familiar with the two legged type down at the Blue Oyster club that I've heard you frequent. :o
i only went there for dance lessons...honest !! :D

I am due to fly to Spain to our family villa in 2 weeks. Easy jet haven’t up to now cancelled our flight but they probably will.
Rumour has it that the travel advice will be updated tomorrow along with the air corridors and no quarantine from countries with air corridor agreement in place.

My father is 89 and looking forward to our time spent together in Spain as am I. We will take as much care there as we do here.

If they do cancel so be it but if they don’t we will be on that plane.

Sue
I hope that you all have a lovely time, should it happen Sue, but one serious question.
Where do you stand with insurance ?
Do you get covid cover?
Hi, we had both checked our insurance and are covered as the flight was booked well before Covid was heard of.

However Easyjet cancelled our flight as I expected they would. Unfortunately the earliest flight out to Malaga from the North West is on 20 July and we were due to return on 23 July. We both decided it just wasn’t worth the hassle for 3 days and have opted for a refund. Ever since my mum died we have had 10 days together at the villa so we are both very disappointed but I am also relieved as I would have been on tender hooks all the time.
