Med cruise flights 2020

#1

Post by bassman67 »

Before P&O had to cancel all 2020 fly cruises this year, did anyone who had booked a cruise from Malta get their flight details, ie, LGW terminal and departure time? I know the 2021 details may vary, but I'm hoping to book a hotel with parking for May 2021 on Azura and some idea of likely flight time would be useful.
Can anyone assist?

Our flight from Birmingham to Malta in 2019 was 06.00.(although in the event it was 2 hours late). I would have thought flight times in 2021 would be similar to previous years to do with aircraft turnaround times. I recall that for the return flight there were people in the terminal from midday onwards flying to most UK holiday airports.

Air Malta has flown from Gatwick at 11.55 for years and years .
It’s the one we always caught.
They are showing the same for next year.
By the way, my brother is still waiting for his refund from them from back in April when the flights were cancelled.
Bad form in my book.
Empty vessels .. and all that

when we went a couple of years ago there were 2 batches of times - it seemed to depend on if you were doing one or two weeks!
The one weekers had early flights and the 2 weekers had later
Ours was at 13.40 (2 weeker)
