Over the Forth to the North.

We have travelled over the Forth a few times in the last six months or so- as carers, so it was allowed and from the Queensferry crossing you can just about see Rosyth. You could see cruise ships laid up last year an one was clearly a Fred Olsen ship the other two recognisable by their outline as Holland America ships. I’ve just checked on AIS and I see that the two HA ships have been purchased by Fred and have been renamed Borealis and Bolette. Both about 60000 tonnes and 13-1400 passengers. We have cruised with P&O mostly and whilst we enjoyed Britannia we prefer the smaller ships which are decreasing in number in the P&O fleet. When we get back to cruising we may just give Fred a try.
Apologies if this is old news.

I must admit since hearing about Fred purchasing these two ships we have been looking at Fred especially since he runs cruises from more northerly ports.
