From picturesque Santorini to historic Rhodes, which Greek island would you be most excited to visit?

Strangely, I’ve been to so many places but never been to Greece.
I’ve looked quite a few times but it always seems to have terrible flight times.
We’re considering Azura from Malta in ‘23 to cruise to Greece.

Empty vessels .. and all that

I've been to Corfu, Cephalonia and the Pelion Peninsular. We were due to go stop in Santorini but were stopped by a storm a few years ago. I'd happily go back to any of them. Our holidays in Cephalonia and the Pelion weren't cruise holidays. The Pelion is still very unspoilt with beautiful beaches.

Santorini is magnificent but probably the biggest crush I’ve been involved in since Newcastle played Rangers in the semi-final of the Fairs cup in 1969. We went there on Oriana in about 2000. I’m not sure how the big ships would cope a) getting in to the caldera (?) b) dropping off large numbers of passengers at the bottom of the cliff.
Corfu has much to commend it but I agree with Cefalonia. It is (was?) so beautifully relaxed.
One island I would like to go back to ( though it isn’t Greek) is Elba. It was the first island we visited on my first cruise and I was smitten. It doesn’t seem to be on many itineraries these days.

We've been to many of the Greek Islands but only a few with P&O. The vast majority were with Voyages of Discovery, Ocean Village and Louis lines. Just love the Greek and Turkish Islands
