Covid travel pass Wales only
Hi all
It's been so frustrating, I have been chasing my update of the covid booster to come through to the travel pass. Initially as I declined the flu vaccine at the same time the system wasn't updated. After chasing the surgery this has been done and have had confirmation from the practice manager.
However the issue here is that the Welsh site is not updating the system for any of the autumn boosters.
I have asked what is being done to rectify this not yet had an answer.
It's a good job you dont need the latest booster for travel at the moment g.
So re documents for boarding I need to download
Boarding pass
Covid travel lass
Luggage labels
And the health declaration.
Is that it obviously I need passport and credit card and coach ticket. Only approx 30 odd days.
Thanks
Lindsey

Crikey, that's tricky. We live in England, had our booster at our GP surgery on Saturday and downloaded a travel pass that included it on Monday. I wonder if it is a Wales issue or individual surgery problem. Hope you get sorted.

There is enough stress sorting things out these days without people adding to it (especially when you have done what has been asked of you).

This is the reply I have received from our local NHS trust for Swansea.
Unfortunately there is a national issue with the upload of Autumn booster onto the covid pass, there is nothing we can do until this get resolved. Nobody has a Covid Booster uploaded in any of the health boards.
Kind Regards,
No mention if how they intend to rectify the issue.

By "national" I presume that they mean in Wales as there is no problem in England.
I thought, according to Drakeford, that the Welsh NHS was wonderful and far better than their English counterpart!

Enough said .
I'm assuming that as the general public of Wales no longer need their travel passes it's not an urgent issue.
Annoying all the same, good job I had my booster last November.

A local matter me thinks ...
The person responsible for doing it is on holiday else off sick due to a stress related disorder

I have emailed the Welsh minister for health to enquire as to why this has not been fixed.

Had booster nine days ago. Checked my NHS app today just out of curiosity and all booster jabs recorded, including latest one.
Me thinks Mr NHS Swansea trust is telling porky’s.

We’ve got all four on our covid pass.
I’ve had hard copies delivered for our next cruise.
I find it easier to have everything on paper.

Had an update on this issue. Its an IT problem which is being worked on.
I have to contact my gp surgery and request a letter stating that I have had my autumn booster.
The local health board wont do it for me.
Luckily I have until the 10th December.
What a fiasco.

I thought that you only needed proof that you had had one booster after the main course of vaccination

I have had an email from the office of the Health Minister in the Senedd here in Wales, stating that covid autumn boosters will show on travel passes from 14th November.
I have checked mine and it's there.
