I keep getting a form saying my submission is invalid so I try again and usually get in. I'm not complaining, just sayin'. Carole

David helped me out big time today…. best administrator ever
If you lick any harder, your head could disappear up there also.
It is true to say that I’ve been to places that others don’t wish to go, but I do so in order that forum members can feel good about themselves…am I not the most thoughtful, giving person on the forum?

Btw, Im not sure if I've mentioned this before but I think you are one of the nicest chaps on the forum  ;) :)
He is. You can tell that by his choice in radio listening.

Careful Stephen, Trish hasn't told him that. She said The Grand, but it is, as you know, The Thornecliffe Grange.

Past three or four mornings I’ve had to login. No big deal but never usually have to do this.

Apart from being slow for pages to open the board is a nightmare at the moment with frequent login requests.

I have no problem at all , most strange. The only thing to say is when I log in I get 'incorrect password' , but putting it in again and I'm in. No trouble over that.

More like you haven’t been paying your subscription fees. If you pay me the back fees I’ll pass them onto David. You know it makes sense.

Indeed, that's just happened to me. It ended up with me having to log in again!

It is a measure to try and slow down the bots that persist in attacking this and many other sites (particularly fora). Basically it is saying only a certain number of logins can take place every 10 minutes. It normally resets within a minute

David tells me it’s a ploy to keep out Republicans and ne’er do wells and we’re all paying the price for it. Well that’s what he told me 😇

Things should improve, at least for a while as I have just blocked an aggressive bot.

Thankfully things should be back to normal for most of us shortly, however, the Neanderthals of Cumbria may experience longer delays due to their insistence of living in the past  :D

Over the past months I've got used both to having to log in and waiting for ages for that to happen. Amazingly this week I've got straight in, no having to log in and no waiting very long to do it! So something's working David!
