We can’t wait to share this special day with you – it’s going to be one to remember! 🌅

Anyone got a comp form handy? We're in our VIP front row seats ready for the big event but so far our hamper and champagne hasn't been delivered.

p.s. Did anyone else watch her sail in this morning on the splendid You Tube channel with all the Southampton web cams?

We found a bottle of warm flat Cava in the shed and a stale cheese sarnie in the kitchen bin.

Well we enjoyed that - would have loved to see more of the ship though.
Absolutely dying to get back on board with P&O - have really missed our cruises.

We enjoyed it too. Really felt for Jo and Dame Irene with the weather. Okay for the chaps with their suits concealing their thermal vests! Did anyone else spot the comedy moment? We were in stitches when the virtual audience were invited to open their bottles of free booze and one chap was seen to leap up from his seat and run to the fridge.

Yes we spotted that as well - the worst thing for the poor chap was that he was right in the middle of the screen. :)

You had one job!!!!

Under the circumstances we find ourselves in at the moment, I thought they did very well. It must have been difficult with no live audience in front to give the atmosphere you would normally get with the christening of a ship. Overall, well done.
By the way, I kept the header photo with the scrolling texts for the first few minutes and missed the start until they faded and the live broadcast came up. Did I miss much?

Only the pole dancers and the massed bagpipe band.
