So here we are at Warners for a Strictly weekend, following our cruise. We've already had a dance demo from Carlos and Nancy last night and a cha cha lesson from Amy this morning (along with 200 others). Also shared a lift with her this morning and she is as lovely as she seems on TV. (I also have her room number, but that's another story....)

So we're back from our Strictly weekend, which was brilliant. Apart from the lovely Amy, and her husband Ben, who is also a champion dancer but not on Strictly (they are a brilliant double act - very funny) we also had Carlos, Nancy, Katya, Karen and Gorka. Also had another champion dancer, Rebecca, surname unknown, and a Strictly singer, Patrick Smyth. The whole thing was brilliantly put together by the BBC Strictly team (no doubt earning a bob or two for the licence payer) with video, voice overs, costumes and behind the scenes gossip. It was all overseen by a Strictly Producer. I asked her if they'll be recruiting Jacob Rees-Mogg or Liz Truss. She said watch this space, we've plenty to choose from!

I can't remember the exact price but it was certainly more than their average weekend. We'd certainly do it again.
