Nor me. Not worth the expense of travel and parking costs. Saying that, I’m not particularly interested frequenting Iona anyway.

We have booked a 1 nighter on Balmoral. Just as a bit of fun (& we fancied seeing what Fred ships are like) Rosyth to Newcastle. Quite excited as I was brought up on Tyneside and look forward to sailing into the Tyne (hope it’s not too early! ) We also get to sail under the three Forth bridges. We are doing it on the (ultra ) cheap. Rail fare home —> Ncl £2.15 (it’s over 35 miles. Rail fare Ncl—>Edn £11.30. We plan to use our bus passes to get from Tyne Quau to home. I couldn’t believe the rail fares. They are singles and not flexible with a 2 together railcard.
Oh & our daughter lives in Edinburgh so we have a pre cruise stop over.

Definitely not. As much as I love being at sea, firstly I am not interested in Iona and secondly as Mervyn says, it would be a booze cruise. Two nights at sea only means less than 48 hours on board.

We thought about the big un's a few weeks ago mainly on price, but no, they are not for us. For those that do, I wish them a very good experience with lots of good memories.
Like Stephen, the chance of a short taster becomes a lot of £s just to get to the ship, and no sooner you are on you're off. No I wouldn't like that short time on board.

Don't worry, be happy

I would spend more time getting there and back than I would on the ship

If RC ever brought an Oasis class ship to the UK, I would certainly consider a short break option on her.
