It allowed me in this morning without needing to login, first time this week. Strange how websites seem to react to complaints, I think it's all down to AI !

That is not so far from the truth. There are many AI bots scraping the Internet these days and as much as I try to block then they keep coming. At one point yesterday there were over 12,000 attacking this board.

You are right Foxy…I just wanted to teach John (towny ) a lesson, in that if he crosses me again I only have to PM my good mate David to make his forum experience hell.

Need to sort it before Friday - just in case......

Oddly only affects my phone, not my PC.

I've just got used to it, having to sign in every time I log on to the site. I also have to wait a good few seconds, maybe 30, before I then get onto the site, same when I go from thread to thread. As I say, it's not a problem, just got used to it. This is using my laptop and Chrome.

It's Chrome on my phone that does it.

Chrome is known to be temperamental at times. I find that Firefox has less issues in that regard

I don't know if there is a connection but I was reading something yesterday that there have been some changes in the way that Chrome handles persistent logins in the latest version

Simple answer - you. It occurs when you first login and set the option to "remember me"

Agh, but I never log out. The system decides that.

I thought the point of the 'remember me' box was that it doesn't log you out.

It is true to say that I’ve been to places that others don’t wish to go, but I do so in order that forum members can feel good about themselves…am I not the most thoughtful, giving person on the forum?

Btw, Im not sure if I've mentioned this before but I think you are one of the nicest chaps on the forum  ;) :)
