Goodbye P&O Community Forum
Has anyone noticed that as from today the community tab on P&O website has disappeared so it looks like it is dead and buried.

Re: Goodbye P&O Community Forum
It was certainly there yesterday - but it may be that until they decide what they are doing that it is better to use the tab for something else rather than have a tab that does nothing.

Re: Goodbye P&O Community Forum
Possibly to stop us getting in via the back door? Although they still have joining the P&O community as the first item under the Your Account heading, but that's not surprising from P&O IT.

It's still accessible by the "back door" link and just about pplodding on but still a total waste of time

Re: Goodbye P&O Community Forum
As I have said on the other thread about the P & O forum, I was busy yesterday on various cruiseline websites, and I went into the P & O site to get my Peninsular number. The icon on the main page wasn't there. I found something further in on the site, but clicking on it was a waste of time.
Oh well, let's hope we can stay where we are.

If David shows any sign of closing it down, perhaps we should stage a sit-in !!

By the way, could I just mention that I won the LOTP
on the P&O site. I'm happy to accept cheques, credit cards or bottles of wine - preferably Brunello de Montalcino or a Premier cru Chablis

I don't miss it either but I do genuinely miss some of the Members who, presumably for a variety of different reasons, do not post on here.

Good luck with that - I won the one before but they are reneiging on their promise of a Worldie. All I've been offered so far is a tacky Buddha keyring and a quick fumble with Carol at the next naming !kaymar wrote:By the way, could I just mention that I won the LOTPon the P&O site. Good choice ... but Cubie would presumably need proof to meet such a claim.kaymar wrote:By the way, could I just mention that I won the LOTPon the P&O site. I'm happy to accept cheques, credit cards or bottles of wine - preferably Brunello de Montalcino or a Premier cru Chablis

Maybe a few of the notable absentees might see fit to join us now the P&O option is defunct.Manoverboard wrote:I don't miss it either but I do genuinely miss some of the Members who, presumably for a variety of different reasons, do not post on here.
Perhaps Plod needs to offer an incentive scheme....! How about Nectar points ?!

It's "Last One To Post" in the Games section, Jan. A few of us with rather fewer brain cells than is good for us tend to get a bit silly down there at times !Jan Rosser wrote:Now you'll have to bear with me cos I'm having a combination of a "blonde" and "senior" moment but what are you talking about LOTPThe old brain cells are not engaged this morning

LOTP is the funniest thing out.
Everyone who contributes to it has a wicked sense of humour.

What is interesting to me is that P&O haven't had the balls to say "sorry it's gone for good". They just removed the tab. Wimps

Exactly Mervyn, all we've ever asked of them ( since January ) was to be told one way or the other and to be honest with us, even if they had put a message on fb but it feels as if they are just giving us all the V sign .....niceMervyn and Trish wrote:What is interesting to me is that P&O haven't had the balls to say "sorry it's gone for good".
