Social services are probably overstretched but the whole system has a “wing and a pray” approach. They evaluate the teenagers' risk factors, get them counselling then send them back out on the streets.

We need a different approach, one where children are set boundaries at a very early age, restricted access to none educational computer use, parenting classes and fines for parents who children struggle to conform (having excluded mitigating issues) and society as a whole needing to be more respectful to each other…this is the way children learn good manners. imo

Foxy, I think the police should have been called who would then involve social services, the police I believe have the power to take the child more then SS who's powers are limited.
Maybe we have a member who has worked in the environment who could answer that.
Social Services were the first port of call for pastoral issues.

Good news. After his Jesus stunt it looks like some of Trump's supporters are finally realising he's insane.

But, unfortunately, there are some who think he is the Messiah

As Rachel from accounts say things are improving, is it a get out of jail card, as trumps efforts make living costs go higher .

The woman's a clown drowning in her own rhetoric and totally divorced from what is happening in the real world.

She really needs some training in how to ignore the cameras when being filmed walking into a venue, those coy little smiles seeming to say look at me I'm famous are really nerve dangling.

Strange how when this happened to the Tories during Covid and the Ukraine war that it was their fault and not world events

Isn't Rachel from accounts stating the bleeding obvious that everyone, except one, on the planet knew? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cr5110n2l3mo

Just wish she was as astute with the economy!!

That's two in a row we all knew before the government. Maybe they should appoint this Forum as the Cabinet.

(No OL, we won't be scrapping betting tax).

I despair when I read stories such as this. What the hell is happening to our country? It feels like it’s turning into a haven for criminals. If we don’t get to grips with these organised criminal networks this country will end up being led by the mafia gangs. We already have places within cities that you dare not walk through (I could take you to a couple in Birmingham).
But why should we be surprised this is happening when we’ve allowed thousands of illegal immigrants into our country who haven't got a cat in hell’s chance of getting a liveable income who then join networks of criminal recruitment centers for easy money. We need to double our police force and increase our taxes to pay for it…we should also think about introducing a poll tax.

As you can tell, I'm really p*ssed off about what is happening to our country.

I’m actually all in favour of the betting industry paying its fair whack in taxes

Isn't it great to know that we have a US president with such a brilliant military background and strategic mind?
