So now we know why the posts were so negative at the start of the cruise, I was wondering if you have warmed a bit to the ship offerings at all David ?
Ambition does get some extremely positive reviews and lots of returning passengers.
Still, have a good day in La Coruna.

Don't worry, be happy

Re: Abassador Ambition May 2026
Day 8 = Saturday 16th May - El Ferrol La Coruna
After a "lumpy" night crossing the BoB woke to find a dull and wet day (nothing new as it always rains when we are in La Coruna). We were due to arrive at 10:00 which we did but it then took the authorities an hour and a half to clear the ship so we decided to have some lunch before going ashore.
By the time we had finished lunch the rain had stopped and the sun was trying its best to get out. We have been to la Coruna so many times that we were not exactly overjoyed at the prospect but we decided on a different route this time. Instead of turning left or right out of the port we went straight ahead and after a dog legs and 10 minutes of walking we arrived at the beach from where we had a good walk along the prom in the now full sun.
Today's exploits have totally changed our opinion of La Coruna but still don't want to come back for a while - three times in five years is more than enough.
One thing that I am impressed with on this ship is that of hand washing when entering restaurants - Pontious Pilate would struggle to get anywhere near!!.
More tomorrow

I will summarise my opinion at the end of the cruise but suffice to say that I will not become a return customer of Ambassador. There are many good points but there are a couple of things that for us are not acceptable.Ray B wrote: 16 May 2026, 10:55So now we know why the posts were so negative at the start of the cruise, I was wondering if you have warmed a bit to the ship offerings at all David ?
