Smilies

Unread post by The Monocled Mutineer »

Is there an upper limit as to the number of 'Smilies' that can be added to an individual post? I notice some posters pepper their replies in this manner.

Content Edited, please anticipate a PM.

I presume that the set-up of this forum prevents a 'Smilie' being added to a signature.

The upper limit is 5 and I think you are correct about the signature but that detail will be confirmed ... or not as the case may be
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

You presume incorrectly Derek - but you have to enter the Smile code manually

Any chance of a list for those of us on Tapatalk? I've found this set:

http://www.atheistfoundation.org.au/for ... howsmilies

not all of which work on here.

QB - only Smilies that are programmed into the software will work.

I will try and get you a list later

QB, I use tapatalk on my mobile. I haven't been able to get smilies to work. Are those you have just done from your phone.

Yes, actually from my ipad but the same thing. You need to type in the appropriate group of characters., e.g. For wink you need

; )

( two characters but without the space).

Thanks David, that's brilliant.. The only problem is that my Tapatalk displays most of them as smilies

I need to play with my browser when nobody's looking.

Tapatalk is a means of accessing a forum (not just this one) by using an app on a mobile device such as a phone or a tablet

Kaymar. As David63 has said it is an app for IPhone/IPad . I don't know if it is exclusive to apple.

If you access several forums (such as education-health- travel- sport and obviously cruising) you will find them all under 'one umbrella'.
