Re: Last One to Post Wins
Chinese seems to have gone right down the tubes as far as we are concerned, in reality I can make most of their dishes far better than they can.
Until that is we went to Winchester recently ... there we discovered one that was just like the good old days when the food used to taste of something other than sugar.
You see SS ... I can dwell in the past if it suits me

Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

Re: Last One to Post Wins
The best Chinese I went to was the Go Sing in West Drayton - their spare ribs were to die for. 25p for a generous portion in 1974. The mess food was so bad at that time, I'd walk into town, have 50p worth of spare ribs and walk back. I raved about that place for years and finally we moved to Uxbridge so, in accordance with our tradition, we went out for a takeaway and I knew precisely where to go, only to find that they'd changed the recipe. The ribs were now dry and not very nice. Harking back to the past isn't necessarily all it's cracked up to be!

A few, Tinks, a few. They weren't as plentiful as they are now - but then I was only a whippersnapper in those days.
I won't embarrass you by asking how old you are - a gentleman never asks a lady for her age.
How heavy are you?

Re: Last One to Post Wins
Evening all, we're just back from our 'grand evening out' with the Mayor. No, Cubie they didn't serve wenches, but a hog roast with all the trimmings, followed by apple pie & cream, and a grand selection of Cumbrian cheeses. A wide selection of wines were available - but I refrained as I was driving.
The entertainment wasn't exactly medieval, but very good none the less: - John Mortimer's 'The Dock Brief' performed by just two actors playing the parts of Morgenhall (the barrister), and Herbert Fowle (the accused), with Fowle acting the part of the judge, witnesses etc, as the Morgenhall rehearses the case for the defence..
I don't know the exact figure, but a fair sum was raised for the Samartitans and a couple of local charities.

Hi All,
Bisto birthday boy here again quietly suffering with the "Manflu" but not too ill to win this game. I'm 21 again for the 37th time
However, at this age so many birthday bumps start to turn into GBH
Cheers!

Penal Colony floating off Hampshire coast to Sahara via Hull.... typical female navigation......
Good afternoon, dear heart, I hope you are well. I was beginning to worry you'd developed another migraine.

Sorry I've been away the old website keeps locking me out and won't accept my password. You won't be able to insult me because 1) it's my birthday and you can't be nasty to me ii) There's nothing to insult me about because I am perfect in every wayHK phooey wrote:Bisto old bean, would you be so kind as to reveal a [*]fbit about yourself so we can work out how best to insult you?
