But you’ll be pleased that she has the decency to donate ... to charity surely?
I am not pleased with anything that she does and I would make a guess that whatever the charities they will be inconsequential.
One’s inconsequential charity could be another person’s salvation.

No. I did but not now. She lost my respect long ago.
But you’ll be pleased that she has the decency to donate what will be several hundred thousand to charity surely?
I will be surprised if it's that much. And no I'm not impressed. I would be if she had the decency to shut up. She wanted to escape the public and media attention.. Look how well that's going. Maybe she should be asking how the Mail got hold of a "private" letter she sent to her father.
It will be a a dam site more than the £1 you were all gloating about earlier ;) :)

I see that Sir Keir has tested positive for Covid19 again, that's about the only thing he is ever positive about.

It would make a bit more sense if she gave some to her Dad, to make up for him missing out on the wedding and meeting the Queen.

I think he would have fitted in well with the Royal family

Thomas Markle said he would continue to accept money for appearances because he believes Prince Harry and Meghan Markle "owe" him.

"It's time to look after daddy," he said in the new Channel 5 documentary "Thomas Markle: My Story."
Markle spoke at length about how he had financially provided for his daughter, and he said she gave him "some" money, including $20,000 over two years, after her acting career took off.

"I'm going to defend myself, and I'm going to be paid for it," he said, adding, "What I've been through I should be rewarded for."

Quite right too.
Not one to find much to agree with Macron on but he's not far wide of the mark when he says he wants to #@*# the antivaxers off especially when you consider that as a consequence of their misguided opinions or indifference they now form the majority of Covid cases in hospital to the exclusion of others who keep getting their treatment cancelled.

And apparently in Austria you will get fined if you have not been vaccinated.

More countries should follow suit.

Can somebody explain this please.

One of the largest groups to be spreading Covid is claimed to be schoolchildren, but schoolchildren are not required to wear face coverings. Why?

It's a conundrum which doesn't make sense. Best avoided when they are let loose in supermarkets. Should be masked.

Ah that's because wearing a mask affects poor little diddums mental health apparently. More so I presume then seeing their grandparents die in intensive care.

Well said Sir Merv: thumbup:

I had to fill up the tank the other day and when I went to pay there was mom wearing a mask and what I presume were her two teenage kids without masks :wtf: …the one child disregarded the one-way system and walked straight past me. Anyway, I though…”I’m going to saying something to the kids” but then took one look at the mom and decided to squeak! squeak! instead.

I should add that our two grandchildren, 8 and 9, while not required to wear masks in class, do so quite happily without fuss in shops etc. If they can do it why can't others?

Mrs S said, how was he allowed to leave the country he was travelling from without proof of vaccination.

Their border control need to be held to account as well. And I don’t care if he was travelling VIP status in a private jet.

Hi Stephen. I think I heard it mentioned that he had been granted medical exemption but as you have pointed out on a different thread…” where there’s a will, there’s money” which probably has something to do with his exemption condition?

He has a medical exemption to play in the Australian Open but, apparently, not a medical exemption to enter the country.

So the gay guy said he was being discriminated against his sexual orientation after the baker refused to make a cake as he required.
Was the baker not being discriminated against for his religious beliefs.
Good the the EU Courts tossed it out.

Why not just take his business elsewhere. It's the baker's shop and he should have the right to decide what he will and will not sell.
