Getting cash out of a Yorkshireman (whether by birth or residence) could prove tricky.

I've heard they're like Aberdonians stripped of their generosity.

Anyway the courier will never find him he's always so far behind. Even when he thinks he's leading it's only because the rest are so far ahead he's being lapped.

It's been very quiet here today - as the French air traffic controller observed on one occasion when they went on strike - but then went back to work after 24 hours without telling anybody. Meanwhile, all the other European ATC staff were pulling their hair out trying to divert all traffic away from French airspace!

Hello everybody I've had a visitor for the last few days - my mother - she is having a new boiler and radiators installed and her house is upside down. Not had much time to do anything and I'm going away on Saturday haven't even got the cases down yet
