Arcadia's visit to Belfast on Monday was her Captain, Trevor Lane's first visit in 43 years at sea. It was also mine, so I took note of some interesting facts about the city. 1: It has a leaning clock lower, which is claimed to be to only building to have the time as well as the inclination. 2: Belfast gave birth to the white liquid 'Milk of Magnesia', whereas Dublin spawned the black 'Milk of Amnesia'. 3: it has a multimillion pound visitor centre - which is devoted to a ship that lasted only a few days in service, rather than a similar sized, highly successful, and much loved one that was built in the same yard, and gave 36 years of sterling service! Only in Ireland.... :-)

Clearly we folk in Yorkshire must be very righteous folk, the sun has been shining most of the day, but it is quite cool.
Oh and I'm in the lead as well.

It's been sunny here all day if a little windy. I only popped in to say that and of course to read Not so's cruise report. So I see I'm out in front of you all again you make it so easy. :D

Eye spy the lovely Welsh lady ... may I ask " Do you have Sainsbugs, or similar, Online Shopping ? " at chez Blod.

I ask cos us English have been given a delivery option ' without bags ' and I am thinking " How long will it take the driver to unload all those boxes of Groceries, given that they will be loose rather than in bags ... look you. "

I'm not a fan of online food shopping so can't help you Moby - Chez Blod consists of me and the dog so not a big shop that needs to be delivered ;)

Ooooooh I'm back in the lead

I thought the aim of this thread was to be last, not first, which must mean that far from winning, Merv and Shiney are actually losers. :sarcasm: 8-)
