Seriously lucky with the weather, thanks. After all the reports of the biblical deluges in SCotland, we only had a couple of hours light rain in Scrabster, a bit of early morning fog in Kirkwall and a few showers in St Mary's, otherwise not hot but pleasant enough and a few lovely sunny days. A terrific itinerary with a number of ports that only the tugboat can reach! All went really well and an excellent cruise. Can't recommend these Round Britain trips too highly. S'pose you want a report when I can get around to it !!

I stayed in an hotel in Paris like that once - you could sit on the lav, wash your feet in the shower and your hair in the basin - all at the same time!

Some friends stayed in a hotel where you actually had to climb over the loo to get to the shower!

When we had a caravan years ago you had to climb over the hedge to get to the toilet and the shower was only available if it was raining.
