I'm sure you have, Raymondo, but have you invested in some of those daylight lamps for your Cheryl. We find they are very good and produce a much whiter light
I've got one of those in my workshop above the lathe, the main lighting is fluorescent tube batten units but that has a hidden flicker which can create a strobe effect on moving machinery which can be dangerous.

I can't see Cheryl bringing her sunbed up to the workshop any day soon although it does get warmer than the house in winter.

Back on track................
Although I prefer warm, sunny weather I don't mind the winter. Actually I quite like the changes in the seasons especially the spring when you see the first blooms of the year appearing. Every season has its own characteristics and I tend to look forward to those although I'll be cursing shortly when I'm up to my neck in leaves!! I feel sorry for those who suffer from SAD.
I was taught to be cautious

Cheryl is like a human solar panel, she is only at her best when the sun is shining but I am totally the opposite and spring to life on a frosty morning and my favourite season is the Autumn. Who needs a gym when there is a lorry load of ash or oak to split ready for winter 2018.

Not much of a romantic but I find nothing more comforting than sitting watching a log burning stove with a glass of red in hand in winter. Its funny but we often go away for Christmas and I will sit in the sun thinking about my log burner on Christmas Day.
