I think you have a point there, SueK - a lot of it is down to "ambience". On Aurora last month, it was always packed and there was a lovely atmosphere which undoubtedly adds to the enjoyment.

Like you we ate "up top" on Arcadia on the Christmas cruise (but not NYE) and then there were only a handful of tables in use.

I think because Sindhu is in a more visible location on Aurora and Azura, it seems to be better patronised. I'll tell Thanka to look out for a rowdy party going in doing the conga !!

We went twice on that cruise - the first time being a sea day it was quite full but the second, which was a port day, it was almost empty. The Head Waiter said that it is always quiet on port days.

Sindhu is my favourite of the select dining venues.

I really like the location on Arcadia, and the last couple of times we've been, it was quite busy. As already said, it all adds to the 'ambience'. there's nothing worse than sitting in a dead quiet empty restaurant

I agree Gill. We have walked passed select dining resturaunts many times and they often look like the Mary Celeste

We felt the lunch menu was excellent and the signature cocktails went well with the lunch plates

When did you have lunch there? I'm sure they didn't do it on Aurora or Arcadia.

Not if they check your record first!

We've never done lunch at Sindhu but will certainly give it a try, if available, on our forthcoming Aurora cruise. We've already booked dinner.

Sindhu is used as an extension to the coffee bar during the day so lunch is off. You will, however, be able to watch one of the Sindhu waitresses folding literally hundreds of blue napkins !

I highly recommend lunch in The Glass House though.

Same wine, same menu, similar service - can't go wrong. No need to book
