She knocked on our door earlier with persistently heave rain. Now just a bit gusty with blue sky and white clouds. Although according to the beeb weather (like I believe anything they say) the wind speed is going to peek to around 62mph by 2pm.

Looks as though she liked what she saw of Yorkshire and decided to take a longer look, winds here due to peak at 53mph gusts in the next hour.
You southerners don't what you're missing by not spending your tourist pounds in God's own county.

Hope she decides to linger oop norf then - we were forecast to have 70-80mph gusts later but I am happy to pass those over to you. Some of the panes in one of my greenhouses aren't that secure !

It'll be a test for our neighbours fence which is already on it's last legs. Not sure it'll survive until the end of next month when it's due for renewal.

I'd stay away from the allotment if I were you. It's either severe storm damage or the local pikey's have moved in.
