Weather here is dreadful - I live on a steep hill and not affected but photos on Facebook of surrounding towns are horrendous - it is awful looking at places you know well being affected so badly - stay safe everyone.

Stephen, it was just a lead in to my next amazing fact. FACT, Essex has about 30 mountains. Now keep that quiet, not a lot of people know that.

On another note, as Jan reported, some have had it very bad over in Wales, looked like a slag heap slipping on the one O'clock news, that would bring back bad memories for some. The flooding is terrible, but I would think it is the same in the north.
Here in the East, it's been not to bad.

On a lighter note, there looks to be a lot a rain west of a line from Southampton to Hull, but as it progress eastwards it seems to fade. I don't think we will be short of water this summer.

Do'nt count on it. If it stops raining there'll be a hosepipe ban next week.

The wind is picking up and looks like we are in for some rain. We'll the gardens do need it.
