You're right. If it happens again I'll stay in bed.

There are still decisions to be made, like what would you like for breakfast, lunch, dinner. Then it's what to watch from your recorded program's as you settle for the night's viewing as apposed to what's on live and then to bed. :|

I’m just fed up - got lunch in the oven - veg all prepared - pudding done - now what!!!

To make it worse it’s my youngest son’s birthday today and under normal circumstances I’d be up there - oh well FaceTime will have to do. I’m feeling sorry for myself today :(

What's the pud Jan, one of my weaknesses, especially if I venture into the buffet at lunchtime.

Homemade rice pudding sprinkled with nutmeg and a generous kn*b of butter ;)

Your not alone Jan.
Mum in-law was feeling sorry for herself yesterday, saying her get up and go has gone. Poor old girl, at 91 and housebound she's missing the family contact.

Now my mother who is 97 by the way is quite happy but I put that down to her not going out in normal times and she said to me that she has her tv, books and the newspaper and plenty of food although she is missing the horse racing :lolno:

I must admit I like the occasional pud when on board. The ramekin hot puddings in the buffet are a job to resist sometimes, especially with lashings of custard.

I'm on chef duty today. Full English this morning and a nice roast with treacle sponge pudding after later. And maybe tea and cake between.

Just love a rice pudding, especially Delia Smiths old fashioned rice pudding, comes out like a well known tinned rice pudding, yummy.
Did want to try a tapioca pudding(Sago) , but could not find any in the shops, till a couple years ago while shopping in our Chinese Wholesale we found loads of it. Love it.

I make it with a mix of evaporated and fresh milk plus golden granulated sugar and grate nutmeg over the top with a kn*b of butter. Personally I don’t like the skin  but both my mother and neighbour do  I’ve never fancied tapioca - doesn’t it look like frog spawn :lolno:
