Sadly one of the highlights of the day is "what shall I have for my dinner" - I don't waste anything if I can help it - throw the leftovers into a soup as a last resort which my mother enjoys. Last night I had scampi and chips - a naughty night and not very healthy but a girl needs a treat :lolno: I am baking more often for something to do - made a Christmas cake last week for my brother in law's birthday - it's his favourite. It's an adventure going through the freezer - lots of things come in two's so I come across odd bags and can't read the label. Thought I was having southern fried chicken one night but turned out to be lemon sole goujons

Within the next few weeks the wifey will be gathering the bits to get mixing, after all, there's only 181 days to Christmas🎉

Clams, unless you pre order with your fishmonger, are not readily available all the time.
We can always get frozen clams from our Chinese Wholesaler.
Frozen bat's are not stocked though.

I get packs of fermented Black Beans from one in Poole

There was a very highly rated Fish Restaurant in West Bay ( Dorset ) that used to serve amazing Clam Chowder but sadly no more as somebody has bought them out to sell burgers and the like to the grockles

:wtf: Talk about the pot (belly) calling the kettle black

Your no oil painting. All cracked and withered, in need of full restoration, but unlikely to be successful.

He should go on the Repair Shop on telly. They're damned clever at restoration. And like a challenge.
