Moby, honestly?
A lot of 'old fashion comfort grub' is said to be bad for you, but it tastes wonderful.
Put it this way, a little of what you like is not going to harm you if mixed with a good diet.
By the way, are you a vegan? Jusy asking.
Take care.
Good grief no but we do have half a dozen options for when vege chums come to stay
You won't need those for a while then......
Oh but we do ... else we could forget how to make them ;)

No, but the beeb had a yellow warnings for snow and ice for several areas including the South East from midnight last night to 1800 this evening, not that you would think so looking at their web site.

Clear blue skies at the moment.

No snow on the ground here but there has been some frost. The Ochil Hills have a good covering of snow they usually give us shelter from the worst weather. I hate snow and ice.
This time last year we were doing a count down for our next cruise which was at the end of January. Like many others this winter shall be the first time for over twenty years that we won't be away on holiday

I think the Beeb will just be reporting the Met Office warnings, whereas the forecast is probably from their in house forecast system, so they could well differ.
Dont like supporting the Beeb but fair's fair after all.

It's already here, we have a two inch covering this morning, it looks pretty but I'm glad we don't have to go out.

Towney, I was going to say you can keep it, but the temp here this morning has fallen 2 deg and is getting a bit gloomy, maybe Stephen is correct.🛷

Well done Sainsbubs. Our road is a side street, in fact a close, up hill, and is snow covered and not cleared or gritted. So I didn't expect the delivery to arrive today. But it did! Bless the driver. He parked at the bottom and walked up the hill dragging our boxes on a trolley. And arrived early.

Two things ...

1. We had 8 substitutes, due to the lorry problems perhaps ?

2. Do hope that you tipped the driver and said " Happy New Year " etc

3. This should surely be posted in the new and improved ' Food 'n' drink ' Topic

4. We have one lady driver out of Weymouth, do you have any ?

Still no snow but very frosty with ice the pavements etc are like an ice rink. Had to walk very carefully (slow) this morning when taking our dog out don't think she was too keen either! Have I mentioned how much I hate it ?

We had a Turkey mini crown, enough for three it said. It was really nice and Sainsbug's special Christmas gravy granuals surprisingly made it taste just like Turkey ought to ... as opposed to it being dry and bland like wot it usually is. Could have got a big specialised black one in the village but twas far too big for two.

Really enjoyed it so we are doing a similar raosty theme, albeit with beef, on Friday.

No snow here but it's very cold outside. Inside it's roasty toasty. I've turned the heating up.

1. Three but they were things that often seem out of stock.

2. Don't be silly. Do you think I'm made of money?

3. Fair point.

4. Yes, at least one.

Up here in the frozen North our central heating only has a short down time, from about mid June to early August. The rest of the time it gets turned on when needed, and as we get older that becomes more frequent.

Too cold for snow here. And even worse tomorrow with a real feel of -6 first thing and not getting allot higher the rest of the day. Might have to use a second log in the burner.
