I agree Gill. We have walked passed select dining resturaunts many times and they often look like the Mary Celeste
That's probably because they saw you coming and kept their heads down !

Argh, that's why all the lights suddenly went off and the closed sign shot up :)

2 cruises on the social climbers favourite cruise line were enough for us, so we won't be doing anymore with them, this side of Satan going to work on ice skates
I found the whole Pando experience an exercise in perceived style over substance and was disappointed that they fell way short of expectations, given the amount of plaudits they receive on here and other sites.
There were some good points, such as Sindhu but not enough to make us book again
just my opinion

We do, and it's not our fault if Batty is wrong. But in the spirit of free speech he's entitled to be wrong.

not wrong just perhaps a bit more savvy and less prone to believing the adverts and the hype?
as we have done our last cruise for the foreseeable, I have no enthusiasm for debating why the chattering classes prefer PandO over other lines, I just know we don't, so in that I can't be wrong

Whilst we are at it, does anyone know that "Sindhu" is actually a proper name, short for Sindhura, from the Indian roots meaning "to love the white boy with fabulous blue eyes". Sindhu especially refers to the girl with a gorgeous smile.

Works for me !

Thanks for the tip.
I definitely won't be ordering cock-a-leekie if it's on the menu either.
