So glad you had an enjoyable experience with Cunard. We feel they offer so much more, so what you have written came as no surprise.
The only thing I would say is that they aren't necessarily more expensive. Four our QV voyage to the Black Sea next year, the entry level Queen's Grill suites are £1,000 LESS than an entry level suite with P&O for an almost identical itinerary. I was staggered as the Grills offer so much more than P&O suites do.
Thanks for posting.

Hello Mel - glad to hear you enjoyed your experience on QE - it is nice to hear from a first timer on Cunard - you have covered all my concerns except the single supplement issue but I imagine that is pretty much the same as all the other cruise lines.
Look forward to reading your report

Pleased you enjoyed Cunard. We like PandO but switched to Cunard as first choice. We have not cruised Grills, but find Cunard prices no more expensive than PandO. There is no snobbery, the food is better, a genuine library, ballroom, and afternoon tea that is the best on the sea IMHO.

Thanks for your report melsea. I know how much you love the Aurora, so to read your comparison between P&O and Cunard was very interesting. I really think we will be looking at Cunard in future. If they were doing the 2 cruises we have booked with P&O at present I think I'd be changing to Cunard now.
