Well Screwy, looks like you may be the first member to sail on Azura this year. We are relying on you to describe what you you find that is good or even improved, at the same time, give us your feelings of what, if anything, is letting Azura down.
I last sailed on her just after cruising restarted after the Covid shut down, and it was not the experience that we were use to.
Trouble getting staff and waiters who were literally training on the job. The food was well below the standard that was served before the crisis.
We tolerated this, understanding the difficulties that cruise lines were experiencing.
But today, the standards on this ship, Azura, should be back to where guests can enjoy cruising again.
So Screwy, give us your true findings, but most of all, have a wonderful cruise.
I've just looked at P&O's video of Azura. I thought I'd quite like to see it as in the past John and I went on her quite a few times, once for two consecutive cruises, round the Caribbean and then back to Southampton. I'd thought it would be interesting to see what she looks like now. What did I see, camera shots with the camera held what looked like about two inches from what they were showing. Absolutely useless, had the videographer not make a video before? Or am I behind the times and this is way of modern photography. It could have been any ship almost, certainly hardly anything to show it was Azura.
Saw a recent video of Arcadia on You Tube since the refit. She certainly looks more modern. I'm on her in June so I hope the P&O service as I knew it is going to be present, particularly as I'm introducing my sister-in-law to cruising.
We must have crossed paths Carole, as we did quite a few back to back ending in Southampton.
I am hoping that she can maintain her place as one of P&Os top three ships alongside Aurora and Arcadia.
Two weeks today we will be embarking Azura.
Will be on board at around 13.00 all being well.

Hi Stephen. Afraid you’re having to get your wallet out, well, your debit card. Jet 2 is a no cash airline but so are the others. I can recommend the Ploughman’s Baguette. They do sell them at half price second time round.

I think there is a early evening bag drop at Bristol .....so if you do that it might make things easier in the morning when checking in

Can’t take advantage of that on P&O charter flights unfortunately.
The following day is a scheduled flight and you can.
I think they like all luggage in one place as it’s an airport check in.
