I and the much beloved had a host of happy days in the comfortable bosoms of this grand lady

In fact I sailed on her in 1954 for nigh on a year as the then Cunard Caronia, but that is another story

Surely the Caronia of 1954 was the famous 'Green Goddess' which ended its days wrecked at Guam in 1974, after breaking its tow in a storm while on its way to a scrapyard in Taiwan.

The Vistafjord/Caronia/Saga Ruby was, IIRC, built in the early 1980s
