Web Page freezing
Anyone else having issues this morning with the site, it works OK for a few minutes then freezes and I can neither scroll the screen nor open a thread. Closing the page and re opening sometimes works sometimes doesn't.
All other web pages are working without problems.

That kind of behaviour is quite often browser/pc related. Have you updated either recently?towny44 wrote:Anyone else having issues this morning with the site, it works OK for a few minutes then freezes and I can neither scroll the screen nor open a thread. Re: Web Page freezing
David, I recently (2 mths ago) changed to Google Chrome, but only because Firefox had developed major problems. This issue only started this morning and is only affecting Cruise Community, all other web pages working normally. As is Cruise Community currently and has now for 10 minutes, but it froze about 10 times before this, sometimes closing then restarting worked, others it was still frozen.
Lets hope it has now reverted to working satisfactorily.

Next time it happens try reloading your browser (ctrl + F5) in FF but not sure what Chrome usestowny44 wrote:David, I recently (2 mths ago) changed to Google Chrome, but only because Firefox had developed major problems. Tried all your suggestions David but it still keeps happening, just surprised I'm the only one affected surely some others must be using Chrome?

How's about uninstalling Chrome, restarting your computer and reinstalling it? If all else fails it may be worth a try.
I was taught to be cautious

I have developed issues on my laptop - I currently use chrome but when connecting to the office vpn, I cannot access various sites that normally loaded up ok. If I disconnect the vpn then they work!

Re: Web Page freezing
Having just had a quick Google on this issue it appears that it is a common problem with Chrome to which there does not appear to be an answer - other than use a different browser!
