Following todayβs Government briefing which highlights the roadmap back for hospitality and travel, we would like to thank all our guests for their support during this pause in our operations.
We are so looking forward to bringing our ships back and to providing amazing holidays at sea with the comprehensive framework of protocols to protect the health and wellbeing of our guests, crew and the communities we visit.
As more clarity is provided on likely dates for travel and tourism to return we will provide an update on our return to service and the experience on board.

The new word that sticks in my mind as being due to the pandemic, is granular.

it seems to refer to data broken down to its lowest level. It was heavily used by the experts when discussing the analysis of infection rates and test data, it was used rather than saying local data, or at least that was what I took it to mean.

I read somewhere that P&O are starting to bring crew back but don't know if that's right.

Does not surprise me Carole, a phased return to gradually bring ships back to operational readiness may be thing to start with.
Don't worry, be happy

The last I read was that some of the crew had not yet been able to get back home

Didn't hear the context but you are correct - low granularity is about providing greater details versus high level of granularity would be about collation and summation. As an example you could start at a very high level of granularity by talking about countries and keep reducing the granularity through regions, counties, cities, town lands, streets, premises and even, at the lowest level of granularity, right down to the individuals themselves.towny44 wrote: 24 Feb 2021, 09:40it seems to refer to data broken down to its lowest level. I consider the term every day speak, although I suppose that may depend on what sort of industry you worked in. I have heard it being used in many industries and disciplines e.g. Sales, Marketing, public sector, IT, manufacturing (and I am sure many other roles) for at least 20 years
