go on the tourist board web site and see what is open
We stayed for a week on Guernsey and there was plenty to see and do
could be a lot worse, you could be going to the Isle of Man, so think your self very lucky :sarcasm:

We spent our honeymoon on the Isle of Man. There was plenty to do.

Try the wee shell Church, it is very quaint and they have three church services on Sundays

Best check the current opening times with the tourist office

The walk at low tide across to Lihou is fun. It has to be a spring tide or you'll get your feet wet.

Just a thought - as you leave the tender in St Peter Port, you will probably see the reps from the local car hire company around. Why not hire a car for the day?

On Sundays usually as so much is closed getting a hire car enables you to do so much at quite a reasonable rate. You can't even get lost really - not even if you try hard!

A car in Guernsey is, in my opinion, a total waste of time and money ... take the local bus(es) instead.

Hi MoB,

I think maybe it's a personal preference thing - we like having a car in Guernsey, but that's just us and 'our ways'. It's not for everyone, admittedly.
