Re: If a P&O ship was to go
Not quite sure why this poll has reappeared recently, but when it started it was about which ship might go to make way for Britannia. So sorry, QB, but I think the answer would be unlikely to be Britannia!
However, we now have the brochure published for 2015 and we know that the answer to which ship will go when Britannia arrives is none of them!
Beyond that, who knows. But purely based on age the next in the firing line would be Oriana. Despite being Aurora's close sister on the surface, below the waterline she is also now old technology compared to most of the fleet.

As this thread has resurfaced, may I just say,
"If a P & O ship WERE to go"
"If a P & O ship WERE to go"

One thing that is a certainty is that all of the P&O ships will be going .... one day

With insight like that I can see why you're Modplod Chief!david63 wrote:One thing that is a certainty is that all of the P&O ships will be going .... one day
Probably when the day comes that the last of the present fleet retires we'll all be saying "Oh, the new one's not like Britannia. She was a nice small intimate ship."

you might think that but most people we know would think thank god that monstrosity is gone.Mervyn and Trish wrote:Probably when the day comes that the last of the present fleet retires we'll all be saying "Oh, the new one's not like Britannia. She was a nice small intimate ship."
