Hi - has anyone ever made the trip to Mahi (sp?) beach to see the planes coming in to land? Is it far from the port?

Hi, sunset beach or Maho is about 10 - 15 mins by taxi. We were there in Feb this year, took the bus from Phillipsburg to Marigot and then a taxi along the coast road to Maho. Great fun and we were lucky enough to see a jumbo land and boy is it close... Nice bar right on beach too, with all the arrival times and aircraft type written on a surfboard. Going back in Jan as have our grandson with us and he wants to see the planes... Oh and nice beach too. Enjoy
