Not sure if this has been asked but what happened to the P&O flag being rolled out bow of their ships if Scotland leave the uk.

There's no need for the flag to change. It doesn't have to be factual or symbolise anything. The Union Jack design is also incorporated into the flags of Australia, New Zealand and Hawaii, for example.

Yes I know but if Scotland leave the uk are not their flag part of the union jack ?.

Well, at least it won't be necessary for another few years - though I doubt if we've heard the last of this.

Still, by then the ships will be due a new coat of paint anyway.
