Re: First evening
Yip, quite David - it's holiday time, and tea and coffee - nowt wrong with that after a long hard hassle free drive from hotel to terminal! Let's put it this way - loads of people pay out for big plastic cups of coffee or tea in the terminal. I wait a bit and sit down comfortably and get it free on board. Win win - no rush etc.
Nice little sandwiches and small little cakeys, nice little scones - ooooh yes. Not to keen on the flapjacks - those are way too big for me. However, I have been good and only had the hot drink, not the other bits and bobs before lunch!

Re: First evening
Sorry David ... in my defence I was merely trying to be helpful from my personal observations .. coffee in my vocabulary is a breakfast drink and anything after 10.00am is of the 'alcohol' variety
Even afternoon tea ( on the odd occasion I partake ) is complemented with a glass of fizz

Re: First evening
Nothing to defend DQ - some people identify cruising/holidays with alcohol, we don't drink much; and so for us a nice non-alcoholic drink is more than welcome.
The important thing is to be comfortable and enjoy the whole thing - whether it's with or without alcohol.

Oh I was joking Em as I'm sure David knew, I wasn't really defending my 'preferences'
