Re: Our World Magazine
We've now got a magazine to share and an email each! Does that mean we'll get aboard three times quicker?

It may have reached South Wales Jan, but it has not reached North Wales.
However, on a positive note, received an e-mail this morning.

Always happy to oblige:
"No one really likes waiting in line on a quayside in Southampton. Which is why I'm delighted to tell you that next time you cruise with us, you'll discover a big improvement to the speed of check-in and disembarkation.
As part of our Pride & Joy programme, we've made lots of enhancements so that the whole process is smoother, faster and easier. From small tweaks to your e-tickets and making your luggage labels clearer, to bigger, behind-the-scenes changes. All together the improvements are a huge step towards our ultimate goal - and that's to get you and your luggage on board without any waiting around.
With everything flowing faster, there won't be any need for separate luggage areas or a Priority Luggage Service. After all, something as simple as fuss-free, seamless luggage delivery shouldn't be a privilege, it should be a standard. And now it is.
Improving the speed of check-in also means that our Ligurian, Baltic and Caribbean passengers now have more time to enjoy the Members-Only Embarkation Lounge until their cabins are ready. (Want a reminder of all your Peninsular Club perks? Find them all here)
Now that you can start your holiday even faster, there's even more to enjoy. Just one of the many improvements we will continue to make to your P&O Cruises holiday. You can also see lots of others here."
With kind regards,
Christopher Edgington

(Now can we discuss my Christmas bonus? I presume it's the same as lasy year...............

It all becomes clear now - and you have all missed what is happening.
From now on you will be taking your own luggage on and off the ship and you will be limited to one carry on piece of luggage weighing no more than 10kg - end of the "let's take everything including the kitchen sink" brigade.

For those of you with the Mag and those who are about to receive one ... a little story.
Way back in time we booked a table for 4 in James Martin's ' La Luna ' restaurant on Ocean Village, this was the date of a notable Wedding Anniversary and no less than himself was in attendance.
My mate James

On page 40 is a story from a couple who enjoyed the New Year fireworks in Madeira while standing on Aurora's deck in the balmy Mediterranean.
Madeira's fireworks are certainly spectacular but I'm surprised they could see them for that far away!
